Proton Radiotherapy

About Proton Radiotherapy
We have established a medical community with Concord Cancer Hospital, sharing facilities, equipment, and talent. We have also jointly established a proton/radiotherapy center, an imaging diagnostic center, and proton/radiotherapy wards.

Our goal: To synchronize with the international gold standard for proton therapy and collaborate with Concord Cancer Hospital to create a new landmark in cancer treatment in Asia.

Equipped with South China's first Varian Probeam proton therapy system, a linear accelerator, a gamma knife, and other advanced equipment, these facilities are deeply integrated with our multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment (MDT) system. We are committed to providing precise radiotherapy solutions for patients with head and neck cancers, pediatric cancers, and tumors in complex anatomical locations, redefining the gold standard for cancer radiotherapy.

[Internationalization of Treatment Plans] We strictly adhere to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines, the Chinese CSCO treatment guidelines, and the MD Anderson Cancer Center radiotherapy guidelines, developing a series of internationally compliant operational guidelines covering pre-treatment evaluation, radiotherapy planning, radiotherapy delivery, and radiotherapy safety culture.

[Remote Diagnosis and Treatment Collaboration Network] All patients treated at the proton center will receive an international consultation from Mayo Clinic, enabling them to access the most advanced treatment recommendations without having to travel overseas, truly realizing the concept of "global wisdom, delivered in China."

[Clinical Scope] Proton therapy is suitable for virtually all patients suitable for radiotherapy. Most solid tumors without metastasis can benefit from proton therapy. Examples include skull base tumors, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, lung cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer, and neurological tumors. Proton therapy is particularly effective for tumors in complex locations, such as the eyes and skull base, and offers more precise treatment options than traditional radiotherapy.
