Treating Intratracheal Mass with Endobronchial Water-Cooled Microwave Ablation Procedure

With strong support and preparation from the hospital leadership and under the guidance of Chief Physician Dr. Wu from the Anesthesiology Department, the Minimally Invasive Surgical Department-Division II team successfully completed the hospital's first endobronchial water-cooled microwave ablation procedure for an intratracheal mass. The hospital is in the process of establishing a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment platform that integrates bronchoscopy, microwave ablation, laser therapy, photodynamic therapy, airway stents, and EBUS, providing a complete range of treatment options for intratracheal masses.
