Education Background
Graduated from Nanjing Medical University in 1982 and worked in the Department of General Surgery at Beijing Friendship Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University.
From 1990 to 1995, pursued postdoctoral research in the Clinical Epidemiology Laboratory of the School of Public Health and the Tumor Surgery Laboratory of the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, USA.
Professional Experience
Worked in the Department of General Surgery at Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University, from 1982 to 1990 and from 1995 to 2004.
In May 2004, established and served as Director of the Tumor Gene Therapy Center at Beijing Haidian Hospital (now Haidian Campus of Peking University Third Hospital).
In April 2007, established China’s first comprehensive treatment center integrating gene-based biotherapy with hyperthermia and minimally invasive therapies at Beijing Yanhua Hospital, serving as Director, Chief Medical Expert, and Chief Physician.
From September 2015 to March 2023, served as Medical Executive President of Beijing Lu Daopei Hematology Hospital.
Since April 2023, appointed as Chief Clinical Expert at the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy Research, Southern University of Science and Technology.

Specializes in designing and implementing personalized comprehensive treatment plans for tumors. With over 40 years of clinical practice, he has extensive experience in the successful treatment of solid tumors (lung, breast, gastric, pancreatic, liver, head and neck, etc.). In addition to expertise in tumor surgical treatment, chemotherapy planning, integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, argon-helium knife minimally invasive therapy, hyperthermia, and biological targeted therapy, he has innovatively applied modern biogene immunotherapy (e.g., P53 gene therapy) and promoted multidisciplinary team (MDT) collaboration, forming a unique therapeutic philosophy and practical system. Leading his team, he has treated a large number of cancer patients from across China and attracted nearly a thousand patients from nearly 40 countries and regions, including the USA, Germany, the UK, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Singapore, India, and Pakistan. This makes his department the one that has treated the highest number of international cancer patients in China since the founding of the People's Republic.
