China-Singapore International Medical Delegation Visits Our Hospital for Inspection and Exchange

On June 9, an international medical delegation visited Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Hospital for on-site inspection and in-depth exchange. The delegation was led by Lin Dongyong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Huangpu District Health Bureau of Guangzhou, and Zou Guolong, Person-in-Charge of the Medical Administration Section. Other members included Feng Yunshan, Deputy General Manager; Yu Li, Assistant General Manager of the Marketing Department; Chen Xi, Assistant General Manager of the Customer Service Department from Guangzhou International Medical Tourism Service Center, as well as Zheng Weining, Deputy General Manager and Wang Yuling, Person-in-Charge of Wellness Projects of Knowledge City Commercial Development Company. Centering on the integrated development of medical treatment, rehabilitation, wellness and tourism, this event marks a key step for the hospital to accelerate its international layout and expand cross-border medical cooperation. Both sides jointly explored innovative models for the development of global healthcare services.

During the visit, Ma Lanying, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Hospital, accompanied the delegation throughout the tour. The group visited the International Medical Center, high-end medical equipment areas and various supporting service zones. She gave a full introduction to the hospital's construction, operation, disciplinary development and achievements in international services.

During the briefing, Deputy Director Ma elaborated on the hospital's JCI accreditation, cutting-edge specialized technologies including tumor multidisciplinary treatment (MDT), precise minimally invasive therapy and gene therapy. She also explained the full-spectrum international medical service system covering remote cross-border consultation, visa assistance, medical arrangement upon arrival, multilingual interpretation, post-operative rehabilitation management and continuous cross-border follow-up, demonstrating the hospital's mature and comprehensive capabilities in cross-border medical services.

 

Adhering to the philosophy of human-centered medical care, the hospital fully respects the religious beliefs and living habits of patients from all countries and regions. After the on-site visit and in-depth discussions, the delegation highly praised the hospital's strong expertise in oncology treatment, complete international supporting services and well-established cross-border medical operation system. Both sides reached a consensus to carry out multi-level and multi-field cooperation negotiations in the follow-up work.

 

Going forward, Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Hospital will forge in-depth cooperation with Guangzhou International Medical Tourism Service Center and integrate their core strengths. Supported by the center's full industrial chain platform and based on the hospital's top-tier oncology technologies and rich experience in international services, both parties will keep optimizing cooperation models and service standards. We will actively explore ways to promote high-quality Chinese oncology services worldwide, further strengthen the collaborative model of professional medical treatment by hospitals plus comprehensive supporting services by the platform, and jointly build a high-standard one-stop international medical tourism platform.
