A crossborder return visit, a highlevel dialogue focused on precision oncology, crossborder healthcare, and medical education. From the signing ceremony in Guangzhou in April to the reunion in Nepal in August, Royal Lee's international journey moves forward with unwavering resolve.

In August 2026, Mr. YEO KIM SECK, CEO of Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Hospital, and Ms. Ma Lanying, Vice President, led a delegation to Nepal for indepth discussions and collaboration.

The partnership originated from the recommendation of the Consulate General of Nepal in Guangzhou. Royal Lee's international positioning, JCI accreditation, multilingual fullcycle crossborder capabilities, and experience serving patients from over 30 countries and regions have earned strong recognition from our Nepalese counterparts.

Facilitated by the Consulate General, Mr. Nawaraj Pandey, Chairman of Frontline Hospital, visited Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Hospital on April 29, 2026, and both sides formally signed a strategic cooperation memorandum, opening a new chapter in ChinaNepal oncology collaboration.

To advance implementation, our CEO and Vice President recently led a delegation back to Nepal. Chairman Pandey and his senior management team gave us a warm welcome, toured us through the hospital's departments, and provided an indepth overview of their current development, disciplinary strengths, and urgent needs in oncology care.

Nepal has seen a rising cancer incidence, yet its local oncology capacity remains limited, particularly in precision diagnostics, minimally invasive interventions, and gene therapy. As a key comprehensive hospital, Frontline Hospital has a pressing need to enhance its oncology services.

During this visit to Nepal, we held indepth discussions with leading public and private medical institutions, including Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital, Frontline Hospital, and Bir Hospital under the Nepal National Academy of Medical Sciences.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral referral of oncology patients, remote multidisciplinary MDT consultations, exchange of oncology specialists, and the joint establishment of a crossborder oncology medical cooperation platform, reaching a high degree of consensus.

The Nepalese senior leadership expressed strong recognition of our hospital's oncology diagnosis and treatment capabilities and GCP clinical trial qualifications. They expressed their willingness to serve as a cooperation hub in Nepal, referring local cancer patients to seek medical care in China, while also hoping to introduce China's mature innovative anticancer drugs and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to benefit patients in Nepal.

During the visit, our delegation conducted an onsite assessment of Nepal's healthcare market. It was found that a large number of cancer patients, due to limited local medical resources, have long traveled to India for treatment, indicating a huge market gap. Royal Lee Cancer Hospital, located in the biopharmaceutical industrial hub of the ChinaSingapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, possesses exceptional geographical advantages for crossborder oncology care and international multicenter clinical trials, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of future ChinaNepal medical cooperation projects.

During the visit, our delegation was also invited to a dinner gathering with oncologists from across Nepal. The evening provided a valuable platform for indepth exchanges on clinical experience, innovative drug applications, talent development, and disciplinary advancement. The warm and productive discussions further strengthened mutual trust and consensus for deepening bilateral medical cooperation.

This visit is a pivotal step in Royal Lee's strategic expansion into South Asia.
