After the conference, Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Hospital and the Preventive Medicine Branch held the unveiling ceremony of the Guangzhou Royal Lee International Anti-Aging Research Institute and the Royal Lee Anti-Aging and Preventive Medicine Symposium.

Ms. Ma Lanying, Deputy Dean of Business at Guangzhou Royal Lee Cancer Hospital, along with Professor Zhang Jiren, Director and Chief Scientist of Guangzhou Royal Lee International Anti-Aging Research Institute, and industry experts Professor Chen Size, Professor Zhang Zongcheng, and Professor Hong Feng took the stage to unveil and officially announce the establishment of the Guangzhou Royal Lee International Anti-Aging Research Institute.

Afterwards, the conference proceeded to the agenda of the academic symposium. Professors Zhang Jiren, Zhang Zongcheng, and Mao Liufeng, experts in their respective fields, presented and discussed topics such as "Development Trends in Anti-Aging and Preventive Medicine," "Clinical Application of Microwave Ablation Technology for Thyroid Nodule," and "Screening of Drugs for Browning of White Adipocytes and Their Application in the Treatment of Metabolic Diseases and Aging."

Professor Zhang Jiren provided a clear and in-depth introduction to the LHCTS international certified anti-aging solution, the foundation of the theory system of "Preventing Disease before It Occurs" in preventive medicine: life omics, construction of the preventive medicine theory and knowledge system under the guidance of life omics, life omics assessment technical system, Te-PEMIC green preventive medical technology system, and more. He also discussed the crucial relationship between telomeres and human lifespan as well as aging-related diseases, along with relevant technologies from the United States.

Professor Zhang Zongcheng from the Liwan Central Hospital in Guangzhou discussed the significant increase in the incidence of thyroid nodules in recent years. He pointed out that although total thyroidectomy is a mature technique, the associated costs such as loss of thyroid function, surgical complications, and cosmetic issues remain substantial. He highlighted the innovative and promising technology of ultrasound-guided thermal ablation for benign thyroid nodules. With advantages such as requiring only local anesthesia, a short duration of 15-30 minutes for the procedure, minimal trauma, virtually painless postoperative recovery, and fewer complications, this approach presents many benefits. Professor Zhang explained in detail the principles, procedures, methods, and postoperative efficacy evaluation of microwave ablation for thyroid nodules.

Associate Researcher Mao Liufeng from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University began by addressing obesity as a global health issue. He introduced the roles of white adipose tissue (WAT) energy storage and brown adipose tissue (BAT) energy dissipation in the human body to the attendees. He also shared the experiments and results conducted by his research team in this field. He mentioned that their team's research on such metabolic diseases relies on Guangdong Pharmaceutical University and the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and they will continue to conduct in-depth studies.

After the presentations by the three expert professors, the audience actively participated in the discussion. In the atmosphere of questions and answers, the symposium of this session concluded successfully.
